Abstract

This Act regulates relations arising in connection with the creation and use of a work of authorship (hereinafter referred to as "work") or artistic performance, in connection with the production and use of a sound recording, audiovisual recording or broadcast, and in connection with the creation or production and use of a computer program or database, so that the rights and legitimate interests of the author, performer, producer of a sound recording, producer of an audiovisual recording, radio and television broadcaster (hereinafter referred to as 'broadcaster'), publisher of a periodical, author of a computer program, author of a database and maker of a database are protected.
