Abstract

Open science is a trend whose necessity and opportunities for science and society at large are perceived by all stakeholders, and attitudes towards it are overwhelmingly favourable. Moving on to the details, the various stakeholders consider that providing open access to all scientific articles and data raises a number of practical problems and research governance issues. This report presents the attitudes and roles of Estonian stakeholders in the field of open science, with a view to contributing to the development of an effective open science system in Estonia that takes into account the best interests of the stakeholders.
