| dc.description.abstract | "In light of the latest global developments in OA described in this position paper, the Academy takes a stand and calls on publishers and science stakeholders to facilitate and accelerate the transition to OA." Comment: In medicine in particular, the availability of scientific knowledge has an intrinsically practical importance, as the Acadamy also notes at various points in this paper. This usually concerns articles in journals, books play a role especially in studies as textbooks. It is noteworthy, however, that incorporating the topic of open science into science curricula is seen as a significant building block for reforming the system. | |
