TUM Open Access Policy

Abstract

The university presidium encourages all scientists to publish their research results Open Access. It is recommended that scientists secure the right to further use of their works. The goal is to have the second publication of the publisher's version on the universities own repository. Peer-reviewed OA journals are highlighted. Scientists are advised on OA by an OA support. OA publications are taken into account in hiring procedures. Supervisors should enable their staff to publish OA. Books are not mentioned here, but journal articles are.
